Today, I’m celebrating 44 years. And you know what that means? I’m definitely getting a workout in. Not because I have to, but because I get to.

I wanted to share some reasons why I look forward to working out today and every week.

It makes us stronger for life

Life doesn’t slow down, so staying strong keeps us ready for anything—taking care of others, running around with my little ones, handling stress, and just being capable every day.

That post-workout feeling

Nothing beats it. The energy, the mood boost, the sense of accomplishment. It’s one of the best ways to start (or finish) a day. We may not always think of working out as an accomplishment so here is your reminder 🙂

Taking care of the one body we get

We only get one body, so why not take care of it? Moving well, eating well, and staying active isn’t about perfection—it’s about feeling good, staying strong, and being able to do the things we love for years to come.

Bonus: When we fuel our bodies right and stay active, we don’t just feel good—we look good, too. That’s a nice perk.

That’s why I will be working out today. What do you like about fitness?
